Synopsis
ซีรี่ย์นั้นบอกเล่าถึงเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับ รัฐอินเดียน่าในช่วง 1980’s เมื่อแม่คนหนึ่งที่มีนามว่า Joyce Byers (รับบทโดย วิโนน่า ไรเดอร์) ต้องออกตามหาลูกชายของเธอที่หายตัวไปอย่างลึกลับ ไร้ร้องรอย … เธอได้มีการขอความช่วยเหลือจากหน่วยงานท้องถิ่นให้ออกมาช่วยตามหาลูกของเธออีกแรง แต่แล้วเธอก็ได้ค้นพบว่า การหายตัวไปของลูกชายเธอนี้ ดูเหมือนจะมีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการทดลองบางอย่างของรัฐบาล ไปจนถึงเรื่องราวเหนือธรรมชาติที่ยากเกินกว่าจะหาคำใดๆ มาอธิบาย!!!
